Guide to Choosing the Perfect Wedding Venue

By: Harrison Fray

Your wedding day is going to be made more special with the thought of having your guests enjoy their time with you. You need to make sure that the venue is kept cozy and comfortable. The guests should be your priority too since they will be the ones who would be there with you. So to help you make the best decision when it comes to your wedding venue, here are some considerations which you may want to consider:

1. Number of guests - You would want to have your guests sit in a cozy place where they can have fun without worrying about the next table. So the venue's size is extremely important. You need to choose the venue well by taking into consideration first the number of people who will be there in the event. You might also want to take this opportunity to already group your guests accordingly. It would be best to group friends differently from your relatives. As much as possible, you want them to feel cozy with whom they are seated beside with.

2. Wedding theme - If you are going to follow a specific theme for your wedding it would be best to consider this as well, since your wedding theme will have a direct impact on your wedding celebration. You would want to bring that wedding vibe right at your wedding's venue. It would be best to choose a place where you comfortably hang your decorations and all such things. It would also be great if the venue you choose already contain some of the elements that your wedding theme is all about so you can save some time and effort as well.

3. Venue's location - You might want to consider getting a location that's fairly easy to go to. With this you have to consider where your guests will be coming from. Think about the transportation that would be necessary to take for them to reach the said area. But if you really like the place despite its location, you might want to look at transportation arrangements which you can do for your guests so that it would be easier for them to go there. You might want to rent coasters so that it can already accommodate the travel concerns of a great number of guests.

4. Accommodations in the venue - Since you would most likely be spending the wedding party for an indefinite period of time, you might also want to consider the accommodations you get right there or someplace near the venue. Not just for your guests, but for you newlyweds as well. You might be too beat to actually go home after the party so it would be a better idea to just stay somewhere near to rest right after the wedding celebration is over.

When planning your wedding venue, make sure you involve your partner and a few other friends who may help give you a bigger picture on things. This way, you would know if you really have made the right decision because you get the inputs of many other people too.
