Is Your Baby Teething Yet?

Do you have a little one that is starting to get in his or her teeth? When some babies start to teeth they end up with ear infections. Their eyes water and most of them are really crabby. They want to chew on anything and everything. They even do a lot of drooling also which means that whatever they chew on gets really wet and sticky. You might go and buy them all of those chew toys that you find in the stores only to find that they do not like them. Here are a few things that might help. If you have a old soft tooth brush let them have it. If you can find a old horse ring from the brittle clean it really good and let them have it as well.

Now there are teething biscuits and even teething drops that you add to their bottles to ease their pain. When your baby starts doing this you will need to go to sippy cups as these they can not chew through them like the nipples of a bottle. The chew biscuits are a good idea but they do turn rather messy. Some babies start to receive their little teeth pretty early. If your baby's teeth come in too soon they might have problems with them later. It is always a good idea to get them used to the brushing of their gums and teeth at a real early age.

If you find that your baby is pulling at their ears and drooling a lot it could mean that they are starting to get their teeth. It would be best to take them to the doctor to find out for sure. You will usually find that your baby has an ear infection on top of the pain of getting their teeth. Give them what their doctor prescribes and have patience with them as they will just not be the happy go lucky baby you might be used to having. If your baby is drooling a lot you might want to put a bib on them to keep all of this drool from getting onto everything .

This drool can make your babies neck become raw as you know what it is like to wear something wet. It is important to try to keep your baby as dry as possible during this time with most cases of this almost impossible.
