Popular Options for Custom Armbands

Although there are many different names that are used to describe custom armbands, they are all representative of similar ideas. They are also known as wristbands, bracelets, wrist tags, identity bands, security tags, and other names as well. There are literally hundreds of uses for these little bracelets, and from high school sports teams to hospitals to nightclubs, people find new uses every day for them.

The whole point of custom armbands is to use catchy and symbolic slogans and phrases to evoke a desire to help a cause in some way. There are endless options for the different sayings and things that can go onto these bracelets, and different messages, pictures, and logos can be added. Lance Armstrong was really the first to be credited with the armband idea when he wore a yellow one to raise funds for cancer with his campaign. The bands are also used by people in hospitals for identifying patients with different needs and requirements, and nightclubs might use them to signify those who are under the drinking age. Amusement parks might use them to distinguish guests who have endless ride privileges from those who have to pay per ride too, for example. One of the best uses for them is in large groups such as at camps to identify the different divisions of campers easily and quickly. Schools might use them for their younger students, too.

Everyday people use the bracelets for disease awareness campaigns, fundraisers for their school or community groups, and also just for purely fashion statement purposes. Different colors have come to be known to symbolize different things. Dark blue is used for child abuse awareness, yellow for cancer or for supporting soldiers, red is for drug abuse awareness, pink for breast cancer, and more. There are many custom armbands that are now available in multiple colors such as red, white, and blue to signify other causes like patriotism.

Just as the color plays an important role in the statement that custom armbands make, so too does the message that is written on them. The length of the slogan should be short and to the point so that people can easily read it from a short distance away, therefore spreading your message easily. Companies use these bracelets as a marketing technique for advertising their company to others.

The bracelets are often used for fundraising campaigns for three main reasons: the first is that they are very cheap to purchase. The second reason is that they are completely customizable so they can say anything you want them to. The third reason is that everybody wants one. You should consider using custom armbands for your next fundraising product.
