The advantage of buying them separately is that you can pick any kind of flowers in any quantity or size and then select a bear in the most practical size to accompany your gift. Valentine’s Day should be all about fun, and teddy bears are the embodiment of fun! Not only is it a great gift, but the bear can bring a smile or a laugh, as well. If you use your imagination, you can come up with lots of other ideas. You could purchase a more comical looking teddy and add a nice piece of gold or silver jewelry to the bear. Of course there is no rule that says that a plush animal has to be a bear. If your sweetheart has some other favorite animal, like cats or dogs, then you could get them one of those, instead. Or even a more exotic animal like a plush lion or stuffed tiger. You could even get them a stuffed bat that says, "I’m batty for you!" The more that you customize their gift to their specific tastes and interests, the better they will like the present.

No matter what your budget, there is a teddy bear in your price range. They can cost anywhere from a few dollars up to several hundred dollars. As mentioned above, you can combine them with other gifts, which gives you even more control over how much you are spending. You can keep it simple, or get really extravagant if your pocketbook can handle it. There are teddy bears that can fit in your pocket or ones that are as big as a person!

Flowers, chocolate and candy are great presents, but they are gone soon after Valentine’s Day. A teddy bear makes a great memento of your love. Your sweetie will remember the occasion, and you, whenever they see the bear, and it can help remind them always of how much that you love them.
