Set in idyllic surroundings in Suffolk, it's no wonder than many people are opting for wedding venues in Newmarket. The history of this stunning town dates back to the fifteenth century; the nearby village of Exning was a major settlement during the Anglo Saxon and Medieval periods, but when the plague began to spread throughout Britain, the population of Exning moved to build a new settlement, which is now known as Newmarket.

You should also enquire about opening and closing times, you don't want to tell your guests to arrange their lifts home for one in the morning when the hotel requires that the room you've hired be shut by 10 o clock!
