Why Weigh Training Is Necessary To Build Muscle

There are various reasons as to why you need to weight train. Over the years weight training has gained a lot of popularity among both males and females alike. If you are obese then you need to consider weight training exercises. The factor that determines your rate of metabolism is your muscles. The more muscles you have the higher the rate of your body metabolism is going to be. A high metabolism means that you are going to burn a lot of calories. In order to increase your body muscles you need to undertake weight training exercises.

If you want to sculpt your body physique, you need to undertake weight training exercises. If for example you want to develop well toned body physique you need to undertake weight training for developing a well toned body. This will require you to use light weights with many reps in your weight training regimen. If you want to develop very large muscles then you need to undertake weight training for developing massive muscles. Your weight training regimen will include the use of very heavy weights with fewer reps. The use of heavy weights will help increase the tension on your muscles, which is needed to spark rapid muscle growth.

Weight training is also essential when undertaking various sports. The thing which determines the success of an individual is there god given talent coupled with adequate skills in that particular sport. The other factors which determine the success of the athlete is the level of endurance and strength of the individual. If an athlete wishes to increase there strength they can only do this through weight training. In order to excel in most sports and individual has to be able to undertake weight training to be able to enhance there performance. There are various sporting activities which require a person to undertake bodybuilding so that they can enhance there performance. An example of one such sport is wrestling. In order for a person to become a professional wrestler they need to poses certain body attributes which they can only acquire through weight training.

There are a few aspects you need to understand about weight training such as;

1. Free weights Vs. Resistant Machines

Free weight involves the use of barbells, dumbbells, when training. There are many benefits of training using free weights. One advantage of training using free weights is that you can be able to perform diverse training routines using free weights. Free weights are a superior choice in weight training compared to machines. The reason why resistance machines are not very popular is because they can easily lead to injuries when training. The reason is because resistance machines have a predefined movement.

2. Compound movements Vs. Isolation movements

Compound movement exercises are preferred to isolation movements because of there ability to involve a variety of muscles during the training. Compound exercises include; bench press, shoulder press, row, and dead lift. When it comes to developing overall strength, compound exercises are more effective than isolation movement exercises.
